TorcPLUS cassette-type hydraulic torque wrench performs the torque operation through the coupling of a drive unit (piston head) and a hexagonal cassette unit. From the tables below, you can select the piston head that provides the required torque values and the cassette units that match the hex size of the nut to be tightened.

Functionality
LOW series cassette-type hydraulic torque wrench is specially designed for bolt tightening applications required in both light and heavy industry. Thanks to its compact cassette unit, it is suitable for use in confined spaces. With its aluminum-titanium alloy piston head, it is lightweight and highly functional.
Hexagon Cassette Unit
LOW series cassette-type hydraulic torque wrench offers cassette options suitable for hex nut sizes ranging from 19 mm to 175 mm. The cassette unit is designed for easy attachment and removal from the piston head.
Additionally, the hex size of the cassette unit can be reduced dimensionally with a reducing bushing. Instead of using a separate cassette unit for each size, this hexagon socket option can be preferred.
Anti-Backlash Mechanism
LOW series features a safety reverse lock system that prevents unintended rotation. This enhances both productivity and workplace safety.
Oil Inlet Port
LOW cassette-type hydraulic torque wrench provides ease of use in all conditions, regardless of angle, thanks to its movable oil inlet port that can rotate 180° and 360°. While the oil inlet mechanism rotates 360° around its own axis, it can also rotate 180° circularly within the plane.
In LOW series, there are two different oil inlet port options available: one located on the top of the piston head and the other at the back.
Pressure vs Torque Chart
A conversion chart showing torque values according to pressure is provided as documentation with the product delivery. The hydraulic torque wrench is calibrated during the manufacturing process, and a product-specific calibration certificate is supplied to the customer together with the hydraulic torque wrench.
Easy Replaced Quick Couplers
Quick couplers provide the user with easy and fast hose connections. In LOW cassette-type hydraulic torque wrenches, one of the quick couplers is designed with a male connection and the other with a female connection. This configuration prevents incorrect coupling of pressure and retract ports.
Additionally, the quick couplers feature a threaded locking mechanism. With all these features, LOW hydraulic torque wrenches ensure maximum operational safety for the user.
Working Pressure and Hydraulic Torque
LOW cassette-type hydraulic torque wrench operates at 700 bar pressure and provides the user with continuous ±3% torque accuracy. The applied torque value varies depending on the hydraulic oil pressure set on the hydraulic torque pump.
Pressurized oil from the torque pump is transmitted via a twin hose to the piston head (drive unit). The piston inside the drive unit extends under the effect of the pressurized oil, rotating the ratchet mechanism by a certain increment. Each rotation of the ratchet generates torque on the bolt or nut. The generated torque is then transferred to the bolt or nut through the hexagonal cassette unit.
Cassette Unit Made of Reinforced Steel
In LOW series cassette-type hydraulic torque wrenches, the contact (reaction) point of the cassette unit that engages with the bolt or nut during torque application, as well as the cassette body, are manufactured from reinforced steel. This feature ensures long service life and safe operation.
Twin Hose
Hydraulic torque wrenches are used together with twin hydraulic hoses. The operating pressure of the hoses is 700 bar. The twin hose, which enables oil transfer between the hydraulic torque pump and the torque wrench, prevents hose clutter and confusion in the working area.
